Kyle and the Philadelphia Marathon

Kyle, my cousin, ran in the Philadelphia Marathon today. He did a great job! Five of us got to go and see him run and we had a great time being there for him. It was exciting to see all the runners run, but especially him. He trained for a long time and put so much effort into it. It was his first marathon and I'm very glad I was there to see him complete 26.2 miles!!!! Congratulations Kyle!!!!

Santa and Gingerbread Houses

Ruth, Kiersten, and I went down to Mom and Dad's church for some early Christmas festivities this past Saturday. Kiersten got to sit on Santa's lap and make a gingerbread house with Mom. Mom and Dad read a story to all the kids too. We had a good time walking around town and spending time together.

Alpaca Fun!

Some friends and I went to visit an Alpaca Farm here in Mechanicsburg one Sunday afternoon. Alpaca are becoming a very popular animal to raise in this area. They are raised for their fur which is made into blankets, sweaters, and other warm pieces of clothing. Alpaca can be compared to llamas, but are smaller in stature.

Pumpkins, Parades, and Fun! Oh My!

I went to visit Mom and Dad a few days before Halloween and everyone was getting ready! We went pumpkin shopping and found some great deals and really neat pumpkins. Later on Mom and Dad carried the banner for their church in the Halloween parade while Norma, Kiersten, Ruth and I watched on!

Molly to the Vet

Molly went to the vet and got a bandage put on her leg because she had blood taken. She looked so funny because it made her leg look like it had a little orange cast on it! No harm done. She was a trooper!
